| The Company
We started Funky Beds ‘n’ Stuff in 2001 after making a racing car bed for our two year son who refused night after night to sleep in his cot. In 2002 we relocated from North East Scotland to a 300 year old farmhouse in idyllic rural France. From workshops under our house we have created some wonderful funky beds and co-ordinating furniture. |

| Our Products
All our beds are individually hand made to order to your requirements. Your bed is not mass-produced but designed and manufactured especially for you! For this reason we do not produce a catalogue. We will make beds in any shape, size and colour along with co-ordinating items such as toy chests, bookcases and wardrobes. Because we have young children ourselves you can be sure that we fully understand your requirements both practical and safety. |

| Materials The bed panels are constructed from class A MDF which is made from wood grown in sustainable forests. We apply 3 coats of water based paint in the colour of your choice and over this 2 coats of water based varnish (certified safe for use in children’s rooms) to protect the furniture. The slatted bases are made from pine and ensure good ventilation and mattress support. |

| Delivery
Your furniture is personally delivered and assembled by ourselves in your home and this usually ends up as quite a memorable occasion. We once had a champagne launching and buffet for a pirate ship bed and treasure chest delivered to London. We never cease to be amazed at the delighted reactions of the children and the excitement caused by the arrival of their new bed! |
